Now that my essays are completed all I have left is my dissertation – granted, it is the largest single piece of work I’ve yet to do in my academic career. Today I’m strategizing how precisely to tackle this beast, in the least amount of time possible.
Less than five weeks until I arrive in America. I’ll be buying a new suitcase next week as proof it’s actually happening.
Me & my flatmates spend a lot of time in the kitchen (eating, talking, lounging)… here we are.. Rana & Anna… I will miss these two…
My exercise has increased and I’m really pushing myself beyond what I ever believed possible. It’s a great feeling of accomplishment and I look forward to the ongoing challenge of maintenance.
I secured a place to live for the summer. My best friend decided she wasn’t able to move to Chicago at the beginning of the summer so I made the choice to go to Milwaukee instead… I don’t need to move to a city without any friends or support. I’ll be subletting a girl’s room through August and living with her two guy roommates. Nick checked it out and he liked it & they liked him… so that’s always good.
It’s a great location for me since it’s not far from Brady St. where lots of shops (& potential summer jobs) are located. Photographic evidence of my room… (although that stuff won’t be there) and the outside of the house.
As dull as the day-to-day can be.. whenever I take a step back from it all I realize just how exciting and adventurous life truly is…
