I’m far from endorsing any candidate as the candidate I’d like to vote for in 2008 but I have to admit that I am consistently impressed with Ron Paul’s intelligence, particularly regarding foreign policy and the Middle East. It’s a shame that he isn’t able to compete financially with Republicans like Rudy Giuliani who brings new meaning to the term ‘slimy politician’. I don’t fit well in either the Republican or Democratic camps since both parties have platform issues I strongly disagree with but I wanted to post this because it’s refreshing to see a candidate who is appealing to logic and evidence rather than emotion or dogmatic personal belief.

Still, if you are going to support anyone, he is as good as any offered. I have to agree with nebulatravel, But…have we failed to learn something under any of the Presidents we have had? Hmm?

So, on the subject. I like this guy. He sounds more like the Republicans of the 1960s and 70s, the ones my dad talked about all those years ago.

Ron Paul doesn’t have a chance in hell – in hell, hmm, I have to wonder what life’s going to be like after the election?

RON PAUL!
Seems like anyone who hears this guy is in support of him. He has a leg up on every other candidate when it comes to consistency and reason. He votes according to what he believes, and he states his beliefs plainly. His views on the function of government are very constitutional, which interestingly keeps him very moderated on a lot of issues.

Nice video! I must say, I agree with a lot of what he says in the video (and I’m pretty liberal).
