During any war, especially one that has raged on with the kind of longevity and intensity that marks the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, it is easy for people to be reduced to casualty counts. Perhaps it’s too painful to mourn each loss, it’s easier to dogmatically support a side without having to humanize the ‘enemy’.
The video below has given a face to the collective retribution occurring in Gaza through a well-known Palestinian doctor who worked in Israel. Izzadin Abu Alaish, a gynecologist, witnesses three of his daughters shelled by Israeli bombs while on live Israeli television.
