Jude Brady Crawford
Our little boy was born on May 8th, 2009 at 11:34am via C-section at St. Mary’s Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee.
He weighed in at 7lbs 12oz and was 19″ long.

Breech doesn’t automatically mean c-section…vaginal breech is safe.

[via YouTube] I had an emergency c-section after dialating to 8 cm. 22 hrs of labor… I had a beautiful 9 lb 4 oz and 23 inch baby boy. U seem to be walking very well for only 2 days after birth… I could hardly walk by 2 days later.

I also had a c-sec 9 years ago this Christmas Eve, after 21hrs. My son weighed 10.5lbs, no gestational diabetes. Healthy.

[via YouTube] Wow, my son was born May 8, 2006…I had a c-section also. I didn’t want a c-section but he was breached and at that point my son’s life was a lot more important than my delivery preference.

Congratulations on your new baby. I’m sorry your labour and delivery didn’t turn out the way you wanted to. There is always a chance for a vbac next time. I think have your water break prematurely can really inhibits labour.
I had a c-section with my first because she was breach, her water actually broke early but I had no contractions in the 4 hours I waited for the c-section. With my second birth I started pushing as soon as my water broke. I hope your second eventual delivery goes much bettter.

Oh, I forgot to mention that you look so vivacious and pretty in that video…and you just had a baby! :)
