I’ve been getting emails and messages on Twitter & Facebook from folks who are seeing my face pop up on their screen between all kinds of shows on all kinds of networks, from CBS to HGTV to Bravo.

The most exciting thing was hearing it played during Oprah a few days ago. (!!!) Since that’s probably as close as I’ll ever get to being on Oprah, I now consider that my greatest accomplishment in life. (Just kidding. Sort of.)

So, YES I’m in a Weight Watchers commercial and am so over-the-moon it’s actually hard for me to share how it feels. Ya see… when I first joined in 2006 one of my dreams was to become a success story. What I really hoped was to someday be featured on their website or maybe even in their magazine. Never did I ever think I’d be sharing a stage with Jennifer Hudson or telling the world about how I’ve got my body back and am now feeling sexy again.

It’s all very surreal.

I love the theme of “It’s A New Day” – it reminds me that there’s no point in getting caught up rehashing past mistakes or missteps because each day that I wake up I get to choose how to live. There’s no need to waste energy feeling guilty – it’s all about moving forward. One step at a time.

I’ve shared a bit before about how I used Weight Watchers previous program as well as PointsPlus and how much I love the the changes they’ve made. I’m so honored to be part of the PointsPlus story and really hope when people see the commercial it inspires them in the same way that I’ve been inspired by so many of you.

More than anything I wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who has rooted for me along the way. This couldn’t have happened without you.
